About- Rules Of Discipline
  • As the medium of instruction is English all the students should speak in English with their teachers, classmates, and companions. Fine may be imposed on the students, who do not speak English.
  • At the first bell all must move towards their class immediately for the assembly.
  • No student who has been absent from school or is five minutes late will be allowed to enter the class without the permission of the principal. Fine may be imposed on the latecomers.
  • It is necessary to observe perfect silence when changing classes for games, P.T., languages and other subjects. The pupil should always move in single file and keep to the, left while moving along the corridors and going down the stairs.
  • Irregular attendance, unjustified or unexplained absence of more than a week, habitual idleness, disobedience malpractices in connection with examina­tion justify dismissal. Students are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct both in & out of the school and Catholics for performing their religious duties as well.
  • All Students must be regular and punctual to school and school activities. No one is allowed to leave the school premises without permission.
  • Pupils are not allowed to leave the classrooms at the end of any period unless they are wanted by the authorities. Running shouting or playing inside the school building is not allowed. Fine may be imposed by the principal for faults against regularity and discipline.
  • Students are forbidden to take part in any political or other organization likely to result in violence or commu­nal disturbances. Any reported or observed objection­able conduct in and out of the school, on part of the students will make them liable to disciplinary action.
  • Politeness and courtesy of speech and conduct as well as cleanliness of dress and person are expected from every student as a matter of course. Any type of discourtesy or disrespect to members of school staff will be considered as a serious breach of discipline. The school is judged by your decorum of behaviour.
  • Everybody should endeavour to keep up the high tone of the school by excelling in good manners and deportment. Hence for the smooth running of the school, no girls or boys may bring to school any object liable to prove a source of the disturbance. Any kind of damage done to the school property must be made good by the students.
  • Students should be always friendly with one another in and out of school. They should Avoid vulgarity in speech and behaviour. Pupils should be honest and sincere with themselves and with others.
  • Students should keep standing when any sister, teacher a visitor enters or passes through any classroom in which they happen to be.
  • During the class, the students are expected to open their respective subject books and study till the teacher comes. If the teacher does not arrive in the class within five minutes after the bell for a period to commence has rung, the second monitor should report the fact to the office while the first monitor shall be responsible for order and discipline in the class until a substitute arrives.
  • All students should take honest pride in keeping the school premises clean. Take care during recess not to litter the compound, corridor and roads with lunch scraps, fruit peels, polythene, napkins etc. Make use of the dustbins provided in the school. It's the duty of every student to stop erring students committing such mistakes.
  • Students who come to school on bicycles or scooters, or motorbikes are solely responsible for their use of it on road. The school does not encourage students to drive motorbikes without -.proper licence. Parents shall be responsible for any- negligence on the part of their wards.
  • All students are expected to show due respect and obedience to those who are in authority, staff members, School and House Captains, Monitors etc. Hence, any act of insolence or disrespect, answering back, con¬tempt etc. Will be taken seriously. Those responsible for misbehaviour will either be suspended or summarily dismissed.
  • Students are not allowed to play on the stage at any time. Children's Park is meant only for the Pre-Primary Children.
  • Students should respect beauty of the school premises and should not destroy trees, plants and pluck leaves, flowers etc.
  • No books, other than those prescribed should be brought into the school premises without the permis¬sion of the school authorities. Books should be carried strictly according to the time - table.
  • No present to the teachers is allowed without the previous consent of the principal. No Collection of any purpose whatsoever is to be started without the previous permission of the Principal.
  • The school is not responsible for books money, clothes etc. lost. Students must look after their own things. It is not advisable for student to have money or valuable articles with them. All are advised to bring their books etc. in a bag or a case that can be securely locked.
  • Letters addressed to the student, which are received in the school may not be delivered.
  • Every student is required to put an attendance of not less than 80% of the total number of working days in the school year. Student of class XII should have minimum 75% attendance to appear for Board Examination.
  • In case of leave except on the ground of illness, the parents of guardians of the students themselves should get the leave sanctioned by the principal well in advance. Every leave must be entered in the leave record page and signed by the parents.
